A Rich History

Kersey Mill has been a landmark in the Suffolk countryside for over 200 years. Built in 1810 on the banks of the River Brett, the historic watermill was later enlarged in 1868, becoming one of the region's most advanced flour mills of its time. Powered by both water and steam, the mill played an important role in the area's agricultural heritage and remains one of Suffolk's finest examples of historic milling engineering.

Today, many of the original buildings, traditional timber framing and period features have been beautifully preserved, allowing couples to celebrate their wedding surrounded by genuine history and character while enjoying all the comforts of a modern venue.
